2-year visa designed for individuals who invest in local businesses.

01

Residency for investors holding shares in the share capital of a company registered in the UAE.

02

Minimum share capital for one investor visa should be in the amount of AED 50,000.

03

Requires to visit the UAE once a year to keep the visa valid.

03

Allows you to sponsor immediate family – a spouse and children.

Investor visa is suitable for those who do not want to be employed at the company where they hold a stake, do not wish to visit the UAE every 6 months to keep the visa valid and would like their Emirates ID to be under a category of Investor, not an employee.

Process of Obtaining Investor Visa

This process is almost the same as the one described with respect to Employee Visa, except for the step on signing employment documents, which you will skip in this case.

01

Gather documents and information you need to apply for a visa (a passport, your address and other information).

02

Apply for an entry visa.

03

Receive an entry visa if you are outside the UAE (if you are inside of the UAE you will undergo a change of status which adds to the cost of the visa and to the time of the visa processing).

04

Enter the country and stamp e-visa at the customs.

05

Submit your stamped visa to the free zone.

06

Attend medical and biometrics.

07

Receive your residency visa.

08

Receive your Emirates ID.

If you apply as an investor of a Mainland company a similar process will be done through an Amer Center.
